Weather report has rain all day Sunday. Doesn't it rain every year during the Court Street fair?

Is it me or is the festival very early this year?

If I'm not mistaken the street fair has been the same weekend as the 5 boro bike tour for the past several years. First Sunday in May.

Has the Gowanus Canal Community Board always sponserd this beast? It's not the most interesting street fair considering the amount of great food trucks in Brooklyn and other things. But it is what it is. Wouldn't be Carroll Gardens without it. I won't be going. I'll be enjoying the the parade of diverted cars down my street.
