Via Roma Pizza Bar To Replace Vinny's On Court Street In Carroll Gardens

Late in 2015, Vinny's, a long time neighborhood pizzeria at 445 Court Street near the corner of 4th Place, closed its doors for good. The closing seems to have been a result of non-payment of rent and problems with the Health Department. Though never one of the best pizza places in Carroll Gardens, Vinny's was missed by many in the community.
It now appears that a new pizza place will open at this location. According to flyers in the window, Via Roma Pizza Bar is "coming soon to this wonderful neighborhood of Brooklyn."
It sure looks like this establishment will be a much sleeker eatery than Vinny's ever was.
