Go for the riceballs & panelle special!
I have and (I'm sorry to report) it was pretty bad.
I have and it is grossly overated. Not the original people or like it was years ago I had a rice ball and a panel sandwich and it was and it tasted like it was fried in a dirty pot.
Pannelle special and Manhattan special soda on tap!!
This is the way it was and still is. The place is a time capsule. Beautiful tile. Tin ceilings.
Old school fixtures. Please do not ever go away.
Shame on the two naysayers above.
Overpriced Sicilian fast food.
I've been. It's nice and very friendly, lots of charm. The food is average. I wouldn't not go there again.
One of my favorites in the neighborhood! Especially the Pasta Con Sarde. Support our 100 year old restaurants!
I got a take away of tripe they prmised was delicious. I took it home, tasted it, and threw it out.
Ate there only once. It was a very average meal which I didn't finish - never returned.
Dear Katia: The New Yorker helped me find your blog. It is a treat to read. Even if I'm a long way from your neighborhood, it's good to hear that it's doing fine. This is the best thing about our access to the internet.
Keep up the good work,
L&P
George
How very sweet of you to reach out, George. Hope you come back to PMFA often to read more news of the neighborhood.
