Poppy's Catering + Events opened at 243 DeGraw Street in Carroll Gardens back in 2013. Since that time, the business has thrived and expanded its kitchen to a location on Columbia Street. However, owner Jamie Schmones Erickson has kept the charming storefront on DeGraw Street as well and has hosted a pop-up bakery and coffee shop at the location for the past two years.
The great news for everyone is that in mid-February, Schmones Erickson launched Poppy's To-Go, which will be open every Saturday AND Sunday, from 9am to 3pm.
So on week-ends, stop by Poppy’s To-Go for coffee, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and packaged goods! (The menu includes organic, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options as well.)
Check out their website to see the sample menu ahead of time!
And remember to support our local businesses!

I live across the street. Fantastic news!
Poppy's is in Cobble Hill Historic District. Any building on the northside of Degraw St from Henry St to Court st is in the historic district. the south side of Degraw st is in Cobble Hill, just not in the historic district.
I live very close too and am loving that I can have good coffee so close. And their chocolat chip cookie is just delicious
I felt like your blog is timely and relevant.
Thank you exceedingly for penning this trove of information; if more
writers wrote intelligent and time-worthy prose, I gander we'd all be in a better situation. To me, I know might focus more on eating
well and keeping fit and alive and escape from being perpetually on the computer or cell phone screen. Go outside!!
(and not being glued to the cell phone all the while, either) and living life in full appreciation of the randomness and patterns of nature, keeps people feeling grounded.
Thinking about vital subjects is likewise an experience of a different
order that can help us make the discovery of self understanding.
