This may be the start of a trend. The (presumed) Korean grocery store, which had previously been open 24/7/366, is now closed from 1am-5am (though in fact is opens sometime after 530am, which is when I pass by on the way to the gym). There’s a sign on the door indicating the new closing hours (1-5am) as of the New Year but as noted it opens sometime after 530am. I’ve never known any of these stores, anywhere in NYC, to close at all, ever, except for some emergency (usually family related) circumstance.
Hi there. Can you please specify which store you are referring to? Is it on Smith or Court Streets?
The son was always in there watching videos lat at night. Maybe he went to college?
170 Court St between Amity and Congress Streets on the west side of the block opposite the bagel store.
