I haven't worn Docs since 1992, but it's a non-offensive brand which will fit into the neighborhood. By the way, the ladies working at the radiology office in the old Met tell me that a Home Goods store is moving in to the rest of the Met space on Smith St.

doc martens is fine. it's not mind-blowing news but if they are hire locally, then i think it's a plus, especially if they'd support the establishment of a shanghainese soup dumpling restaurant somewhere in the neighborhood. reputation-wise, doc martens has long transcended their post-world war II german origins and later support of skinheads - so many different types of people wear their shoes and i remember them fondly from the 1990s... the company is now owned by the same private equity firm that also owns hugo boss.

I love shopping at this store glad they will be closer to where My uncle works thank you again don't half to travel to the city for every thing all the time cant wait for grand opening.
