oo
The organization behind the Transit Garden, the sweet little member-supported community garden on the corner of 2nd Place and Smith Street, (across from the Carroll St. F/G entrance) will be hosting a fundraiser and party on June 16, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm. All proceeds benefit this little green oasis., so get your ticket now and help support it.

From the Trasnis Garden:
Join us at the Transit Garden for our Summer Fundraiser & Party!

The Transit Garden has been one of New York City’s beloved community gardens for almost 20 years. While that makes just about every aspect of our garden stronger, it unfortunately means something else for our wooden planters. They’ve had a good run, but it’s time to build new ones. New planters are an investment and we’ll need the support of our extended community to make it happen.

So if you’ve ever walked by and been delighted by the blooms, pick up your CSA in the garden, or have taken a selfie with our enormous sidewalk sunflowers, now’s the time to show your appreciation.
Ticket price includes entry to the event, live music, & hors d'oeuvres.

Live music by:
Brotherhood of the Jug Band Blues
Sunshine & Rainbows Stringband
Emmett Macrides-Einbinder
Spur of the Moment

Raffle featuring:
