Early in the morning, on an empty lot on Sackett Street in Gowanus.
(Someone had fed these cats and they seemed fine.)

Speaking of which, what is the deal with the homeless guy who lives by the bike lane on Columbia Street, and who feeds all the local cats? He is very abusive towards cyclists. Always bring garbage bags from local buildings in the area and throw it on the bikeway, leave broken glass and sometimes broken ceramic on the bikeway as well, and so on. On a few occasions while commuting home, he started yelling at me to get off the bike, once while waving a big stick around. Yet he always have local folks hanging out with him. They sit around, chat, bring food for the cats, etc. Anyone knows his story?
