One would have thought that a burger place is the last thing Court Street needed, what with Bareburger, Moo Burger, Nature's Grill, and so many other neighborhood eateries like Two 8 Two Burger, Fawkner and Shake Shack serving this American staple.
Calling their burgers 'chef inspired', Burgerim allows customers to create their own by choosing between 9 different patties, including spicy mergez, wagyu beef, chorizo, salmon and veggie, two different buns, as well as various toppings and sauces.

Yeah. I saw this. I’d rather see Mauz the Israeli leader in falafel.
If I, as a woman of a certain means, would try to eat out once a week, I could hit all the restaurants from W.9th to Atlantic Avenue, up and down Court to Smith Streets without repeating any of them. In a year I would eat in about 50 places...equal to around the number of restaurants dotting these streets. So do we need another burger place. Like wine coolers, it has had its day.
But to the culinary challenged if they deliver in fairly good time, bikes hovering the street, they may make out. In the long run....Here's to the Ladies Who Lunch.....We're Still Here......

I think nobody could beat the burger at the old Hill Diner on Court.
Burger places are the new frozen yogurt places and the stores will eventually quickly close.
The real question is how long Focals By North stays open. There’s at least 6-7 employees, likely making at least $15/hour, working at all times doing nothing with no customers and no foot traffic because there’s no description of what they sell. Salaries have to be at least $1,000/week but nobody is buying. Ironically, the glaases are meant to be used instead of cell phones, but through the windows you can see the bored employees all staring at their own cell phones.
