Spotted on Saturday from the Union Street Bridge:
An egret next to the Gowanus Canal,
surrounded by a plume of raw sewage
and of course toxins in the water.
The photograph was taken by Gary Dolan, who writes:
"Apparently the egret has a taste for pickled fish."

And can’t believe they paid to get in a canoe and paddle like they are in Venice...they are ALL insane..look at the sludge...wow...
