If you have a pet, large or small, you might want to bring it to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Carroll Gardens this Sunday, October 6th, 2019 for the Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals.
The blessing is a beloved tradition in the neighborhood, not only for pet owners, but also for those who come out to witness this cute ceremony.

From St Paul's:
On Sunday October 6, 2019, St. Paul's Episcopal Church will be holding the annual Blessing of the Animals in honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Animals are welcome at mass. The blessing will take place afterwards at the front entrance of St. Paul’s on Clinton Street at 12:30. After the blessing there will be treats for the animals and Coffee Hour for their parents. All in the community are invited to bring any and all animal members of their family, great and small to be blessed.

St. Paul's Church is located at 199 Carroll Street
