The Yearly Carroll Park Fair Has been Scheduled

The neighborhood institution is back! 

 Meet your neighbors while browsing for housewares, books, music, 

clothes, jewelry, antiques and collectibles!

Saturday, June 1

Valentino Ballfield, Court Street between Carroll and President

All proceeds benefit Friends of Carroll Park. 

Don't wait too long to reserve your spot.  They have a tendency to go fast. Here is all the important information from the Friends:

The Deal:
Spaces (10’ x 10’) are $35, or $50 if you want a space next to a fence (the advantage of the fence is that you can hang stuff on it).
We provide only the space – you need to provide your own table and chair.
Sorry, but we cannot allow sales of food or drink.
The rain date will be the next day, rain or shine.

How To Reserve:
To reserve a space, you can mail in a check, stop by and pay by check or cash, or use Paypal.

Mailing Payment
Make checks payable to CICP. Send to Gary Dolan, 213 Carroll Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231. Please include a note with your name, phone number, email address and a brief description of what you will be selling (for example, “miscellaneous household goods” or “jewelry” would be fine).

Drop Off
Call 917-574-0745 first to make sure I will be in. 213 Carroll is between Court and Clinton – ring the bell under the stoop. You can also put your payment in an envelope, along with the info requested under “Mailing Payment, and slip the envelope through the basement locked gate, and I will email you to confirm receipt.

Paypal
To net the full fee through Paypal, we need to get paid a little more. For a $35 space, the Paypal payment is $36.35, and for a $50 space it is $51.80. Use this email address to make payment:carrollparkflea@gmail.com

Non-Profit
100% of the space fee goes to the Friends of Carroll Park, a non-profit group that has been around for over 30 years. It is run entirely by volunteers. All funds received are spent on the Park, mostly on gardening and free children’s concerts. We’re sort of the PTA for the park, supplementing what the City does.

Due to a rather grim forecast, this year's Carroll Park Fair has been postponed to its rain date of this Sunday, June 3 from 10am to 5pm.

Mark your calendar. The yearly Carroll Park Flea Market has been scheduled for June 2nd by Friends Of Carroll Park. If you would like to participate as a vendor this year, don't wait to reserve your spot. They have a tendency to go very fast. Read on for more information:

Flea Market Reservations Are "Go!"

Our intrepid flea market maven Gary Dolan has given us the go-ahead to release information on renting a patch of Carroll Park's Valentino ball field during our ever-popular annual flea market! This year's event is scheduled for Saturday June 2 from 10 AM to 5 PM (with a rain date the following day).

The cost for a 10' x 10' space is $35 for an interior space and $50 for a space along the fence.

To reserve your spot, email carrollparkflea@gmail.com with your name, phone number, and a brief description of what you'll be selling (i.e.; jewelry, records, household miscellany).
Sorry, but we cannot allow food or drink sales. We accept cash or check (payable to Friends of Carroll Park). Rental includes the space only, no amenities: vendors must bring their own tables and/or chairs.

'Twas Another Successful Flea Market In Carroll Park

As in years past, the Carroll Park Flea Market was a huge success and a blast for everyone. The event is not only an opportunity to browse through rows of fun collectibles and bric-a-brac, but most of all, it is a wonderful way of connecting (or re-connecting) to neighbors.

The flea market is a fundraiser by and for the Friends Of Carroll Park entirely organized by the group's volunteers.

Don't Miss Carroll Park's Flea Market This Saturday

This week-end is supposed to be glorious. No matter what your plans, make sure to swing on by the ball field in Carroll Park here in Carroll Gardens, because the Carroll Park Flea Market will take place this Saturday, June 4th , from 10 AM to 5PM. The yearly event is always great fun for everyone in the neighborhood. All the spots have been rented, so expect many vendors selling everything from clothes, decorative items, jewelry and other assorted bric-a-brac that no one can live without.

The event is sponsored by Friends Of Carroll Park and all proceeds will benefit the park.
