A Happy Sight: Dominic Del Re, Knife Grinder

It's been a while since we saw knife grinder Dominic Del Re and his little red truck in and around Carroll Gardens. Yet, here he was yesterday afternoon, parked on Smith Street. We paused for a while, watching him work and capturing the moment on video.
With all the changes to our neighborhood and to Brooklyn, it always brings us great joy to see such vestiges of the past.
Glad to see Mr. De Re still working and his truck still running.  How about you?
