I can't believe that reporter did not connect the dots between David Lefkowitz and Toll Bros. Isn't Lefkowitz's site one of the ones where Toll wants to build? Isn't he in contract with Toll for them to buy his land if the spot rezoning goes through? So there is a lot of $ at stake for Lefkowitz if Toll pulls out. And again we hear from developer interest that the canal is not all that dirty - clean enough to build on. With that kind of attitude, who would ever trust the developers to clean it up???
Walter Mugdan was so clear and strong. A hero in my grateful eyes...

Almost as interesting is what is up with David Von Spreckelsen's new hairdo. He should grow it back. He looks pretty drained.
Go Walter and thank you!
I also liked the woman at the end of the clip.
That Lefkowitz guy is so WAITING for his check from Toll Brothers!!
The piece came across as a Lefkowitz/Toll propaganda article! These Superfund "opposition" parties have very one-sided objective here; they both want to make a lot of money on just one site along the Gowanus. To do so, they want to stop the Superfund effort that will help the whole Gowanus! Shame on them both!
