Tini Bar Moves Into Barbara Corcoran's Red Hook Building?

**Update: Curbed just interviewed Barbara Corcoran about her Red Hook place: To read, click here

I just got an email from the folks at Tini Bar in Re
d Hook. It seems as though they put a nice Thanksgiving menu together at their new location. The last time I was there, they were at 414 Van Brunt. According to the email, they moved over to 293 Van Brunt.
Pardon me for asking, but isn't that Barabara Corcoran's Red Hook investment? Looks as though she finally found someone to rent to. The storefront has been empty for a while. Back in March of this year, Curbed reported that Corcoran had dropped the monthly rent of this lovely store front from $2,500 to $1,800. I hope Tini Bar got a great deal. ( If the space is bigger, can they still call their establishment "Tini"?) And for those of you lucky enough to not have to cook for family on Thanksgiving , check out the info on Tini's Thanksgiving feast. It sure sounds wonderful.

Hi Tini Bar Folks,
Thanks for the clarification.

That sounds like a great dinner. I am sorry I am stuck cooking for my little crew here at home who insist on having the usual "Mother-slaved-in-the-kitchen-all-day"
meal.
I myself would much rather have Monica Byrne cook for me.

Make sure you send us some more info on Home/made. We will gladly post it in this little bloglet.

Dear Pardon Me,

This was a time when you didn't ask, but should have!

Tini is NOT, I repeat NOT moving from our beloved tini spot!

We ARE opening another business on Van Brunt to be called " Home/Made", which is where we will be hosting our Thanksgiving dinner.

Home/Made will be a retail store featuring eclectic home furnishings, many designed and made by Leisah and I, and in the warmer weather we will feature an outdoor grill cafe in the yard: my grilled pizza's and flatbreads, organic salads from Added Value etc.

During the year we will also use the slightly larger space of Home/Made for parties, and supper club style meals, like our family style Thanksgiving.

Thanks Ms. Pardon, both for the mention, and the opportunity to set the record straight!!!

Chef, Tini, Home/Made & Roquette Catering

Mi Monica,
Yes, you are right! Ms. Pardon Me should have asked first.
But then your email said :

"Please join tini for a special home/made Thanksgiving dinner inaugural party at our new space!!"

So I wrongly presumed that you had moved.

I am glad indeed, that you set me straight.

Sorry again,
That should of course be Hi Monica

Hi Katia,

A year and a half later, we ARE moving into the building at 293 Van Brunt St.

We're hosting a "Bar Raising" on Sunday, as we have a parade down Van Brunt St. at noon to our new location, we treats galore await!

We will open for new business mid April!

Cheers,
