Hi, first I love your blog! I live in the Cobble Hill area (just moved to NY) and I love seeing things around here I haven't seen yet via your blog.
I do have a really random question though. I still don't have health insurance kicking in for another month with my job - however I am feeling very ill this weekend. Do you know of a walk-in clinic here (that will see you without insurance) in Brooklyn? I'm having a hard time finding one (except for the one at 200 Clinton)...
It sure would be nice if my body would wait to get ill until after my insurance starts!
Welcome to the neighborhood.
You couldn't have chosen a better place to settle in all of New York.
I am sorry you are not feeling well.
Of course it always happens when you are not covered by insurance...
Anyway, I am not sure where there is a clinic in Cobble Hill, but my advice is to go to a pharmacy and ask. They would be the most likely place to have the answer.
CVS on Court maybe?
Hope it's nothing serious. Keep me and the other readers posted,
Katia
If you feel okay enough to go into Manhattan there are two DOCS walk-in clinics. They are associated with Beth Israel hospital. I haven't needed to go there in years but I think they're pretty good. There are 2 locations: 55 E. 34th Street
(212) 252-6000
202-204 W. 23rd Street
(212) 352-2600
