You see the platforms out there in the ocean?
About a mile out?
They are pumping sand from the ocean floor back to shore.
Through thick, rusted pipes, joined together in one straight line,
sand and sea shells are deposited on the beach.
What a series of storms has taken away, man is putting back.
This replenishing project will restore 25 miles of beach along the Grand Strand of South Carolina. I thought you may want to see, dear Brooklyn reader.
It is all very interesting and exciting.
And very expensive...
How is the weather back home?
Here it is just lovely.

Oh, well thank you for letting me know. I guess it wasn't that much warmer here, then.
