the trash on that block, and the fact that its never shoveled in the winter shows how much the "saviors" of the plaza really put their money where their mouth is...
Perhaps I misunderstand, but your sweeping comments characterize dedicated and determined community advocates as god-like folk who should put their money,etc.
Well, 8:17, the UNA and TriBlock members did pay Gilberto for years to do what no city agency or the owners would: Gilberto cleaned the plaza while Barbara ferreted out who was legally responsible. It worked until Gilberto became ill. She is still nailing Mr. Stein and the city down- and they are still wriggling off the hook.
I might have missed it, but how have you helped?
