What is going on here in Carroll Gardens? Someone is stealing fuel oil filler caps
all around the neighborhood. I was first told about this weird theft by a local resident two days ago. Now, another resident mentioned that a cap has gone missing on Smith Street between Carroll and First Street. Apparently, one block on Fourth Street was robbed of every one of their caps.
What becomes of these metal disks, you ask? The only thing I can think of is: scrapmetal...
