Last night during dinner:
My Son:
"Hey, I forgot to tell you. This morning in the subway station, a rat fell from the ceiling right onto the platform, flipped over and ran off!"
So what do I do with that information? Do I have to stare up as well as down when I stand waiting for the train from now on?
Oh why did he not forget to tell me?

Just something we deal with in NYC if we lived in Suburban New Jersey or elsewhere, we would deal with other things like Boredom.
That is one poorly punctuated sentence, Anonymous.
Let's try it this way:
Just something we deal with in NYC. If we lived in Suburban New Jersey or elsewhere we would deal with other things (like Boredom).
