As Miriam on Court Street closed its doors just around the corner recently, someone is converting three garages at 269 Baltic Street into an eating and drinking establishment. One wonders why, with so many empty storefronts on Court, it would be necessary to go through the hassle of doing significant construction. But hey, its nice to see a bit of optimism...
