In anticipation of the customers who would arrive later in the day, bread had been delivered to the Cubana Café on Smith Street early in the morning, under a bright blue sky. Its fresh baked smell was simply amazing.
As I was walking by, I smiled. Yes, it was going to be another great day in the neighborhood.

the bums of carroll gardens would have a field day with all that bread
is leaving out bread that customers will later eat legal? now that it has been advertised the bread will definitely not be edible!

I really would not worry. The bread was in paper bags and was most probably taken inside shortly after I walked by.
