No, summer is not over yet and there are still many great opportunities to relax and have fun, especially right here in Carroll Gardens.
Take this Friday evening! Matt, a volunteer for The Committee To Improve Carroll Park, is screening
the original theatrical version of Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope.
See? I told you there is still fun to be had before heading back to work or to school.

I also planned on going to the Close Encounters screening (8/8) but was disappointed when nobody showed up (other than a few other confused couples). The close encounter poster was an actual flier in the park - any idea what is going on?

Hi Jimmy,
Sorry, I just came back from vacation, but I will check it out.
Seems that this summer, organization was not what it should have been.
I will relist the Star Wars screening one it is rescheduled.
