City Tree Pruning On President Street
The majestic London Plain trees on Carroll Street were getting a major trim yesterday from a tree service under city contract. The pruning was much needed and will certainly benefit and strengthen these old trees.
The man with the chainsaw seemed amused that I was taking his photo and stopped
his work long enough to pose for a photo.
I saw the truck between Court and Clinton Streets. Did they do any other blocks?

Doesn't look like the trees in front of us were trimmed. Between Court & Smith. They will certainly need it in the years to come.
the cut a few trees down entirely on courts street by pj hanleys so i guess they're making the rounds
Katia,
When did you stop poetingt he 3 or 4 most recent comments on the "Side Scroll" of your site.
How do comments made to OLDER Posts get fresh eyes?
They are making the rounds....very slowly. The trees on President between Smith & Hoyt were pruned in December two years ago....
This was actually Carroll Street between Court and Clinton Streets. Casa Rosa is on the corner.
Oh, you are so right.
Thanks for correcting me.
Will change it in the post immediately.
