Comment Of The Day: What Would Old School People Say?

oo

Anonymous has left a new comment on the post ""Manhattan Milk" Man Coming To Parts Of Brooklyn This Week, But Not To Carroll Gardens, Yet.":

$5.00 a quart? How do we know its from organic grass fed cows? I guess if people are willing to pay $15 a pound for chicken cutlets (union market) then whats $20 for a gallon of milk. In the normal world that can get you 3 gallons of milk and a pound of chicken breast. Old school people would slap you for spending so much money.

Hi Anon,

I know - doesn't it feel good?
I remember when I was Quote of the Day 3 time in a week - I was thrilled.

Katia reads every entry and personally posts 95% of them. 4.5% can't be posted due to foul language and .5% just becasue of the volume - - - but I bet it's that 1/2% who complain to her it.
Katia has a good blog, good neighborhood insight and a good heart.

BTW Anon -

That very same week when you posted about Urine Stoop, someone let thier dog poop just outside my front gate. Not spite, just Dim-ness.

Did you see those posts, later on, asking (and answering) "What does curb your dog mean?" It's a funny world sometimes.

Hi All,

I do read each comment personally and post probably 98% of them.

I do not post comments by people who try to advertise something, nor do I post comments that are just too vicious or contain foul language.

Generally, all of you readers are truly respectful and it is a pleasure to have a dialogue with you on issues relating to the neighborhood.

I am happy to know that people are thrilled to have their comments posted as "Best Comment Of The Day."

Cheers, Katia
