Did you know, dear Reader, that the planting areas in Carroll Park look as beautiful as they do because of the tireless work of neighborhood volunteers?
On Saturday,  The Friends Of Carroll Park were once again joined by local residents (and yours truly) to  spruce-up everyone's  favorite green oasis  as part of "It's My Park Day."
Daffodil bulbs were planted, perennials were divided, weeds were pulled, fences were put up to protect young trees and trash was removed from the planting areas.
Afterwards, Carroll Park looked a lot neater.
Volunteers are always needed, so please consider donating back just an hour or two to keep the park looking great. Contact The Friends Of Carroll Park
