A special program of shorts including films by two Big Movies for Little Kids favorites, Georges Méliès and Max Fleischer, and featuring Brooklyn Space Program’s incredible SPACE BALLOON (in which director Luke Geissbühler and his 7-year-old son Max launch a homemade spacecraft into the stratosphere), and The Beam Project’s wonderful homage to Méliès, A TRIP TO THE SUN (created last year by a very large number of Brooklyn kids attending summer camp in New Hampshire). (USA, France; not-rated; black and white, and color; animation and live-action; approximately 60 minutes)
