IKEA? Really? What did the Economist call them, "the world's wealthiest charity...and one of its least generous."
http://www.economist.com/node/6919139
Must be nice to simply declare yourself a non-profit so you don't have to pay any taxes. Tax dodging Swedish bastards! Go home charlatans. Liars. Scumbags. We don't need your "charity work" in Brooklyn. We can make our own furniture and sell it on Etsy. AND PAY OUR TAXES!!!
That park behind Ikea is nice and uncrowded. It has great views and well-kept grass lawns.
However, I've been seeing those postcards and posters promoting the Pirates Festival and Solar Fest around the neighborhood. They give me a migraine. Graphic design gone bad.
Pure propaganda - a business that profits from disposable furniture, destroys a historic drydock for a huge parking lot because everyone drives a polluting car to move the cheap furniture boxes has the balls to claim they support the environment? Shame on the Urban Divers for their participation!
