Congratulations to Friends and Residents Of Greater Gowanus. The non-for-profit group will be presented with a grant award from The Preservation League of New York State on Wednesday, October 26th at 12 noon until 2 p.m. at The Old American Can Factory.
The grant award will be used to conduct a survey of The Gowanus Canal Corridor for the Nomination to The National Register of Historic Places as an Urban Industrial District.
The Old American Can Factory is located at 232 3rd Street at the corner of 3rd Avenue.
Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
