hi! I've been reading your blog for awhile but this is my first comment because that's me! and my husband! :) we're newish to NYC so we were headed to have our first east coast beach experience. so funny you caught us.

Where did you end up going and how was your first beach experience?
You made me want to drop everything and head to the ocean as well.
Thank you! We ended up going to Rockaway and it was pretty good! We liked it. We want to check out more beaches. Any suggestions?
The Rockaways a great, especially Riis Park. Of course, Coney Island and Brighton Beach are fun too, but a lot busier.
Take the time this summer to hop on the Long Island Rail Road to try some of the beaches like Robert Moses or Jones Beach.
