Tthe group meets the first Thursday of every month in the park house at 7:30 PM.
And just a reminder about Carroll Park's City Harvest “Feed the Kids” Food Drive. There will be a collection this Saturday, June 15th from 11 to 3 in front of the park housePlease consider dropping off canned vegetables and fruit, mac & cheese, peanut butter, and cereal. (No glass, please)

Speaking of the Friends of Carroll Park, when do you think you and/or the city will be putting back the No Dogs Sign(s) around the entrances of the Ballfield & the Playground.
They were slowly being broken & disappeared; more so after Sandy.
The old rules were NO Dogs on the Ballfield & Playground, while dogs on a leash were allowed in the Center / Monument Section ONLY.
Now, Dogs are not only romping on the Ballfield but they are being let OFF leash. I see them peeing on the Ballfeild Trees & pooping in Rock Garden in the Monument section.
I am a dog owner, but I do not walk my dog through the Playgorund or Ballfield, nor do I let him pee anywhere he wants. Whatever happened to "Curb Your Dog" & "Pooper Scouper" Laws?
Couldn't agree with you more. We need to ask the Parks Department to replace the signs.
