Did you know that since Hurricane Sandy, the mechanism that allows the bridges to be opened has been broken? For the time being no boats can pass. It is the same for the Third Street bridge.

I'm sad to hear that the Carroll Street bridge no longer works. Seeing it open one day was a dream of mine.
It was open all summer.
I should have been clearer, Trumbull. The mechanisms were damaged during the storm, so that none of the three bridges can be opened to let boats pass.
