Here is a wonderful after-school workshop for kids that is being held fromMarch 18th to April 29th right here in Carroll Gardens. Brooklyn Book Factory will be hosting a children's book writing class, in which they will learn basic storytelling and illustration in order to create their very own book.
The workshop will take place at Court Tree Collective, a new gallery/event space at 371 Court Street.
The cost is $200.
Here is more information:

Brooklyn Book Factory 's mission is to provide children with the opportunity to visualize and create through inventive storytelling. Students expand their imaginations by not just developing characters but breathing life into them through illustration.
