State Senator Daniel Squadron To Host His 7th Community Convention This Sunday

oo
State Senator Daniel Squadron, whose district includes Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights and part of Carroll Gardens, is hosting his seventh Annual 26th Senate District Community Convention since taking office. During prior conventions, Senator Squadron has sought feedback from his constituents on topics like education, transportation, housing and ethics reform.

It is a great opportunity to make your voice heard on all of the legislative and community priorities that shape the district. If you live in the 26th District, I encourage you to attend. Please RSVP here.

Seventh Annual 26th Senate District Community Convention
Sunday, April 12, 2015
2:00PM to 5:00PM
Lower East Side Preparatory High School
145 Stanton Street (between Norfolk and Suffolk Streets)
New York, NY 10002
RSVP here, or contact Senator Squadron's office at 212-298-5565 or squadron@nysenate.gov.

From the Senator: Dear Friend,
Great news! U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer will be delivering the keynote address at my seventh annual Community Convention this Sunday, April 12, 2-5 p.m. at LES Prep High School (145 Stanton St b/w Norfolk and Suffolk).
Will you join us too?

We'll hear from Senator Schumer, and break into 15 moderated discussions where you can voice your concerns and offer suggestions on the issues that matter to you. And we'll wrap up with a reception including great food from around the district!

Too often the good ideas of everyday New Yorkers are drowned out by special interests, but that's simply unacceptable. On topics ranging from tenants' rights and parks, to ethics reform and social justice, this is a chance to impact our district, city and state.

It's a great chance to connect with residents from across the district, and I look forward to seeing you there!
Thanks, Daniel
