Happy First Day Of School At PS58

As everywhere in New York City, it was the first day back to school at PS58 this morning.  Some kids had huge smiles on their faces, some seemed a bit apprehensive about a new school year.
I am sure everyone will settle in quite nicely in the next few days.
How did it go with your kids?  Where they happy to see their friends after a long summer? Did you take a photo that you would like me to share on PMFA?

My kids are all grown up now, but seeing the children line up in the schoolyard brought back lots of memories.  Except, during the time of Principal Linda Leff, parents were not allowed to accompany their kids into the schoolyard.  Different times at PS 58….
