"Is it not cruel to let our city die by degrees, stripped of all her proud monuments, until there will be nothing left of all her history and beauty to inspire our children? If they are not inspired by the past of our city, where will they find the strength to fight for her future?" Jacqueline Kennedy

Here we are, at the end of another year. Before the beginning of 2017,  I wanted to take some time to glimpse back on the past few months by posting some photos I took in and around Carroll Gardens.
I wish all of you a wonderful New Year.  May it bring peace and love to all and let us thrive to make this the best community it can be.
My sincere thanks to all my wonderful readers and friends for continuing to encourage and support Pardon Me For Asking.
Cheers, Katia

OMG Katia, I love seeing the changing light and feelings of the seasons in your2016 recap. Your blog is such a "labor of love" for our community. Thank you. And all best wishes to you and your family in 2017. And to my neighbors as well.
