Five days in Oslo, Norway certainly is not enough to discover everything this lovely city has to offer, but my husband and I certainly made a valiant effort. In the first two days, we managed to visit the Viking Ship Museum, the Munch Museum, the Folk Museum, and the Nobel Museum. We followed up by visiting the National Gallery, the Vigeland sculpture garden and the Fram Museum, which tells the story of Norway's polar explorations. In between, we walked around the city for miles. Have I mentioned that my husband would cover every inch of a city if he could? I try to keep up, I really do, but sometimes, I prefer to just sit in a street café and absorb the local atmosphere.
Next stop, Amsterdam and its lovely canals...and museums.
Stay tuned.
