It has become a bit of a tradition here at PMFA to end the year with a review featuring some of the photographs featured during the year. Part of the reason I continue to write this blog and to photograph Carroll Gardens throughout the seasons is to hold on to time, which appears to be passing ever faster, though a year continues to have twelve months. As the pace of change in our neighborhood has accelerated, I feel compelled even more to capture what was, before it is lost forever.
I would like to thank all of you, my dear Readers, for joining me on this continued celebration of our very special Brooklyn neighborhood. Throughout 2017, I have met many of you personally. I have enjoyed reading all your thoughtful comments and love that you continue to visit  this little blog. You have contributed to making this a place for the community to have a voice, and for that, I am very thankful.
As 2017 ends and 2018 begins, I wish all of you health, love and happiness.
Katia
