"Is it not cruel to let our city die by degrees, stripped of all her proud monuments, until there will be nothing left of all her history and beauty to inspire our children? If they are not inspired by the past of our city, where will they find the strength to fight for her future?" Jacqueline Kennedy

Friends Of Carroll Gardens Library Requesting Donations For Upcoming Book Sale

Friends of the Carroll Gardens Library will be hosting a big book sale at our local branch at 396 Clinton Street on November 3rd, from 10am to 3pm. The group is currently requesting donations.
Bring your fiction, nonfiction, and children's books in good condition to the library's reception desk before October 30 during regular library hours. (see here)

Friend of Carroll Gardens Library is an all-volunteer group, which supports our local library branch by fundraising to make it the center of the community. Please help them in their efforts.
