You may remember that the annual Carroll Park Fair that was supposed to take place in May had to be cancelled because of rain.  The good news is that this popular event has been rescheduled for Saturday September 22nd, from 10 am to 5 pm. So mark your calendar and make sure not to miss it.

The fair is hosted by Friends Of Carroll Park and is the non-for-profit group's main fundraiser. It enables FoCP's volunteers to do all their great work in the Park -- movie nights, karaoke, the Halloween party, all the plantings, and more.
Come on out, support your park and have a great time doing it! Meet your neighbors, find bargains, empty your wallet. There will be live music, face painting and more.

If you want to reserve a space for the fair where you can clear out your closet, promote your business or sell your product (sorry, no food or drink sales), contact Friends of Carroll Park at 917 574 0745 for more information. 10' x 10' spaces are only $35. But don't wait. There are just a few left.

Let's hope the weather is more cooperative this time around.

Also, St Paul's on Carroll and Clinton will be running a church rummage sale focused on baby and kids things.

They announced: On Saturday, September 22, St. Paul's is setting up a table at Carroll Gardens' fall flea market and will also be hosting its own mini-flea in our court yard that same day. We will be selling children’s clothing, toys and books. If you have anything that could be of use, please drop off your donations at St. Paul’s Sunday, September 9 and again Sunday September 16.
Please only bring CLEAN and GENTLY USED items. We cannot use any clothing that is too worn or stained, books that are page worn or broken toys.

We will also be offering baked goods and light BAR-B-QUE in St. Paul's courtyard as well. If you would like to bake or donate store bought bake goods, please bring them by the church the morning of the market before 10 am.
