Don‘t worry! The big Orange Oracle said this will all be over by Easter.

I wonder if amid all the praise for the governor's handling of this debacle—particularly for his procuring floating hospitals and assembling make-shift medical facilities in all boroughs—he still thinks reducing LICH to a pile of rubble was the right thing to do?
By the way, Trump never said this would be all over by Easter. He has said it was his hope that we could open by Easter but never made it a definitive date. Please don't be like the media and spread false stories. Stay safe everyone.
Thanks for the clarification. Btw, my French and German friends inform me that no one expects the borders to those two countries to be re-opened before June/ July.
To Unknown at 9:53, Trump said on February 26th: “When you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.” So giving him until Easter was actually being very generous. He said we'd be close to zero by the beginning of March.
Trump's mis-messaging has created a lot of confusion and people not taking this seriously. From saying this was a hoax perpetrated by the Democrats to saying this was going to miraculously disappear, to saying testing was not important. (I heard/saw this all with my own eyes/ears - no "Fake News) Thank God for the governors, Cuomo included, who have shown heart and leadership in this very dangerous and sad health crisis.
Good to see people quoting non partisan reporting from the Washington post.. (Ha)..The failure of the Cuomo and DeBlasio admin to properly prepare the city and state is mind blowing.. From the lack of vents to lack of equipment.$$ wasted on projects..Solar factory upstate to lightbulb factory. to the mental health program (1 Billion$).Fed's are a back up not the answer.Trump closed down Travel from China 10 days after 1st case. Convened panel on Jan 20.. Dr Faucci and the WHO failed on so many levels. Also the CDC screwed up the testing in the beginning..Just goes to show that government programs is incapable of handling something this big.. Thats why Trump had to step in and get private sector involved. Maybe a week was lost before he stepped in but that's my only complaint. Testing to an unknown pathogen was done in 5 weeks as opposed to 5 months as per the FDA.. Too bad first reaction to most people on the left is orange man bad..no matter what he does. How many people lost to H1N1.?

what a wonderful world you must live in to maintain such a blissfully ill-informed point of view. that steady diet of fox news and breitbart has really paid off for you. america first, right? number one in infections. soon number one in total deaths to COVID19. but wait, i want to hear you explain that away by comorbidities - that next on your prescribed list of talking points, after pinning the blame on WHO and fauci. go ahead, use your big words.

Believe me, I have not forgotten. I think of it every time he gives a press conference and speaks of the lack of hospital beds.

Good read about how Trump has been lying about this: https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/politics/trump-coronavirus-statements/
