2018 has brought many changes to South Brooklyn, including some sad closings of long time businesses like Refinery,  Wycoff's Corner Pharmacy,  Rae's FirstMade For Me Shoe Repair and Zaytoon's.
Yet, other stores and eateries that have been serving Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill for a long time are still going strong. Hopefully, they will continue to do so in 2019 and beyond.
What would this neighborhood be without our family-owned businesses like Staubitz, Monteleone's, Caputo's, Esposito's, Los Paisanos, Court Street Pastry's and Sam's, to name just a few.
So let us pledge to support them and to thank them for making this neighborhood vibrant and special.
