St. Paul's Presents: "Hot Jazz In The Hood

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church presents “Hot Jazz in the Hood, an Evening of Jazz with Willie Martinez and Friends” on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Come experience an evening of world class jazz with Willie Martinez, Misha Tsiganov, Jenifer Vincent, Anton Denner and Eddie Allen. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Doors open at 8pm, with showtimes being 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. The admission price includes both shows, beer, wine, soft drinks and light fare. Seating is limited, with a no reserved chairs policy. Make your reservation by calling 718.625.4126.   St Paul’s Episcopal Church is located at 199 Carroll Street off of Clinton Street.

St. Paul's Episcopalian Church Will Hold Blood Drive This Saturday

Please spread the word around the neighborhood. St. Paul's Episcopalian Church in Carroll Gardens will be hosting a blood drive this coming Saturday. Let's help make this a success by taking some time to donate.  Read on:
A New Year is upon us, and for many it means making New Years Resolutions. May we suggest one, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will be hosting a blood drive for the New York Blood Center on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in their Parish Hall. Why not drop by and give the gift of life. Close to 2,000 donations are needed each day in the New York/New Jersey community for patients who require a life-saving blood and/or platelet transfusion. Those in need include cancer patients, accident, burn and trauma victims,surgery and transplant patients as well as newborn babies. Start the New Year off right and come down and donate. The entrance to the Parish Hall is located on the side of the church on Carroll Street off of Clinton Street.
