According to the agency, "the purpose of the meetings are to discuss the next steps EPA will be taking to address contamination at the Gowanus Canal Superfund site."
The first meeting will be held tonight, November 13th, 2013 at PS 32, 317 Hoyt Street from 6:30 to 9 PM.
The second one will be held on November 14th in Red Hook at the South Brooklyn Community High School, 173 Conover Street.

I don't remmeber congress voting on the ROD...and even though the Record of Decision is a powerful tool at the federal government's disposal to coerce action, it is hardly a law.
ROD is passed by the EPA but who runs the EPA? Where do they live?
After the EPA spends $500,000,000.05 of our tax dollars, the Canal will continue to receive CSO discharge during rainfall and fish caught will still be contaminated. Stupid plan.
