Free Children's Activities at Carroll Gardens Library in January

Throughout the month of January, the Carroll Gardens branch of the Brooklyn Public Library has some great activities planned for kids.

Today, Katheen Henderson, the "Carroll Park Lady", will be doing arts and crafts with the little ones.

Thursday, January 15, 2015 4:15 pm – 5:00 pm
Carroll Gardens Library
Transport yourself to different worlds with books and factual insights. This is a Read Aloud program followed by an activity, inspired by arts or crafts. For ages 5 to 12

Adventures, we will be exploring: Crime Scene Investigator, Secret Agent: Cracking the Code, Be an Illustrator, Shapes in Art, Simple Machines and the Impact on our Daily Lives, Doodle Diary, Flight and People in Flight
Ages 5 to 12 only. Parents, come see the magic of reading in action!

*Duplos Stories for Preschoolers

Duplo™ Stories is a Storytime using Duplo to teach early literacy skills.

*Lego Club Challenge: Build a Lego creation from a cup of Legos

January month challenge: making a Legos creation out of a cup of Legos.

Carroll Gardens LibraryDoes your little ones love exploring and ask you a lot of Why questions about the world around them. Say no more! Little Scientists is here to uncover discoveries. Here is a special Storytime where we learn about different aspects of science through stories, songs, crafts and activities.
