Mc Donald's Films Commercial On Smith Street
Over the week-end, 'no parking' notices had been posted on Smith Street from 4th Place to around DeGraw Street and on several side streets.
This afternoon, there only seemed to be some filming activity at the corner of Smith and 3rd Streets.
I might have missed it, but was there more filming activity in the morning that would have warranted the elimination of all that parking today?

A Trolley Ride Along 5th Avenue In Brooklyn Circa 1938
Oh what a find! I am so thrilled. A Brooklyn Trolley ride circa 1938. Click on this quickly. There is Fifth Avenue, there is Flatbush Avenue, there is Bergen Street. The tram goes all the way to 9th Street. Look at the buildings, the cars, the mothers with their prams. The past is coming alive again.
Did I mention I am excited?
